I have been going to the Nollamara RSL Anzac Day service for about 4 years. It is brief and relevant in a family and community setting. This year, 4 young girls got up in front of the crowd of several hundred people and sang Lest we forget". Beautiful. They serve a cooked breakfast for a nominal fee after the service. I like it."

Large club in terms of membership set on fairly modest premises. Front yard is a parking lot with limited (~26) spaces but more available at nearby Nollamara shops. There is a simple memorial in front of the entrance consisting of a natural stone cenotaph before a brick wall with a large rising sun plaque. Forecourt also has a Quick Firing (QF) 25-pounder artillery gun details of which are:- MkII weight 8-0-3 Barrel No.L/9300 Jacket No.L/5995 Breech-ring No.L/5995 manufactured 1941 by Maribyrnong Ordnance (MO) on saddle No.2 MkI, and carriage MkI/L/ No.4813 manufactured 1941 by Charles Ruwolt (CR).

This place has an iconic West Aussie RSL character all of it's own. Must be a member or seconded by a member to drink here. Sometimes there is a random lovely lady in a bikini and a smile for the old guys.
